Oversight
Oversight involves reviewing, monitoring, and assessing an acquisition or engineering effort. Oversight is often performed by a third party that is not responsible for the design or implementation of the capability. Enterprise Architecture can provide the primary basis for evaluating whether an effort is meeting its requirements, and for identifying risks, their likelihood and potential impact on the success of the effort. Oversight is typically established as part of the governance structure of a program.
